We employ stylist that are available at your convenience. All of our stylists have earned their hair licence from the ministry of training. To join, and stay on our team, our stylists are required to take classes 3 times yearly to learn the latest trends and techniques.
Our clients are the most important thing to us, so their satisfaction is our primary objective. We cater to individuals and their specific needs in a private and uplifting atmosphere.

Born September 11th , the youngest of three siblings, Maria Bertrand has made a name for herself by developing her own unique hair styling techniques from a simple straight back corn-row braid to the complex hair designs that have been recognized by many. Known by her friends as "The Specialist" Maria's career path began in the stairwell of her high school. Realizing her talent, Maria attended George Brown College to help her focus on not just doing hair, but the art & science of hair styling.
After working with other hair stylist through the years, Maria opened her own salon in November 2008, Kasnique Hair Design (Kasnique is a combination of her two beautiful daughter's names: Kashmir and Martinique).
Known for her creative hair designs and working with natural hair, Maria has been recognized by leading entertainers which include: Kardinal Offisal, Melanie Durant, Divine Brown, Mya, Belly, Sean Paul, Measha Brueggergosman and Farahri . In 2010, Maria got the opportunity to incorporate her artistic hair style design with recognized designers across the country at the F.A.T Fashion Show back in April. She has also worked with Toronto's top directors like: Little X, RT and Cazhmere. Maria uses organic ingredients on set and in her salon to preserve the health of her clients' hair when using extensions or wigs. She is able to make custom wigs to fit the client and help their hair grow while under her care. There is no stopping Maria when it comes to hair fashion. Whether you have extremely curly or bone straight hair she will use the right products to get the job done and the look that you want . As she noticed the lack of educated hair styles in her industry she provides all her staff and students with the knowledge that they need to further their career and grow a productive cliental. She continues to remain in fashion and loves anything to do with art.
